Wow, how did you do that in Photoshop?
Wow, how did you do that in Photoshop?
its pretty ez, 15 min you'll be done.
I took a pic of the car with the body and the take another one without the body, do not move the car or the camera, i just set my camera on my bench and used the timer so there is no hand movement.
found a pic of the sky something dramatic lots of clouds, convertem to b/w, make a layer with whatever color you would like to clouds to look like in my case blue, set the clouds on top of the layer with the color you chose and change the clouds to multiply or whatever looks the best. so there is your backgorund.
bring the car pic both of them set the pic without the body on top an either multiply it or again whatever looks better and maybe lower the opacity a bit.
in my pic I added the water and the car reflection and some waves, but that is up to you to play with.
that is pretty much the basic of the pic,
the lightning i just used the paint brush and drew the lightning and the add and outer glow, the i transformed it a little bit and brought it to the cars engine just by dragging one of the corners.
i think that was it. its pretty simple and since its for the web you don't have to make it look perfect, my edges on the car are not really clean but you won't notice unless you zoom in.
hope this helps.
Oscar.

Im also good with photoshop, the lightning and clouds are VERY easy and takes little time. I can make lightning in 10 seconds. Clouds are as simple as filter>render>clouds, lightning is filter>render>clouds >revert clouds>invert> , For each just choose your color and BAM!
