Default newbie at painting...

hi everyone... i was going to paint an rx-7 into that car of Hans in tokyo drift... not the s15 but the one he crashed and died in... does anyone know where i can get that paint and how i should go about painting it?... like which part first or if i need any accesoories?... or i was going to do a rx-8 into something like this... http://www.groovydrift.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1231 thanks every1

Only members can veiw whatever you linked us there bud, but anyway, principle's the same for most painting jobs, have a look around for a tutorial, there are a few around.

The RX-7 you mentioned also has a bodykit almost the same as the Japan GT racing rx-7 (Team Amemiya-Kiroshi I think). http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFun...n&ItemID=25872 here you go...that's not the exact bodykit but It is the best I could find.

ok thanks... ill also look at some tutorials but also do you know of any paints i should get?

There are loads of purpose made cans, you can find them at any hobby shop. Normally Pactra or tamiya

Thats an easy paint job.
1) get some polycarbonate paint
2) mask off the area you want orange
3) paint the rest black
4) peel away the mask and paint orange.
5) paint the inside, wash and dry well before painting
