Default Engine Vents

Is it required to cut part of the windows out in order to cool the nitro engine???


All your help is app. btw i run a hpi .15fe with a two speed trannie tops out around 55 mph thanks Zack

Yes it is unless you want to overheat you engine and ruin it. You only need a hole about 1-1/4 inch dia. in the windshield directly in front of the motor and then maybe a little in the side window to make it easier to refuel when it is still running

Dont forget your rear vent holes they will make a world of difference for your airflow.

Default Engine Vents

I've gotten kinda creative on some of my bodies and cut out the grill's and put a piece of screen to make it look like a speed grill. Looks kinds cool and I haven't had any overheating problems.
