RE: help please
I assume you have a clear body and the correct type of paint?
There is no primer as the paint is applied inside the body. You must wash the inside of the body with warm soapy water then rince out completely. dry with kitchen towel and allow to air dry throughly.
You then apply the window masks that come with the body.
You can then start spraying. Do light coats and let dry between them.

RE: help please
Well i'm in the UK and dont know what home depot is. i will assume its a d.i.y store. I dont think they would sell it. So get online and get it ordered.
I would say you'll need 2 cans of spray. The colour of paint you want and either black or white spray to use as a backer. White will make a colour bright black will make it darker.

RE: help please
clean body - MASK windows - paint - back it - remove mask
Don't forget your window masks. I have seen people get over excited and just paint the whole body windows and all.

RE: help please
You might be able to get the paint at some kind of craft store but most likely they will not carry it. So your best bet is just order it online, or start driving. Just make sure you get this type polycarbonate.

you can use cans. Thats what most people use i would say. Airbrush is a expensive investment. I know its been said at least once but make sure you get eiter black or white to back your paints. I know it can be exciting to buy the paint and then forget the backing colors.
<------ I painted my jato with cans (see avatar). With the two white racing stripes. If you want to see a better pic check my gallery.

Sure thing! [sm=thumbup.gif]
If you are going to be using cans, another word of advice I would give is to stick with Tamiya polycarbonate paint. Pactra is okay, but I get MUCH better results with the Tamiya.
Here are some other simplified links for painting:

RE: help please
Another little word of advice when using rattle cans make sure to warm the cans up prior to spraying some paint.
You can use hot tap water and let the cans soak in the water for a couple of minutes. This helps the paint flow better from the can, which will leave you with a much better finish!!!

Let the cans sit in the hot water for a minute and you should be ready to spray!!!
