Default practice surfaces?

I would like to practice painting with an airbrush. Has anyone tried using glass? I think it would be great to use Fascolors on it then wash scrap, and try again.

Or what other surfaces do well?

thanks, Chas

I have heard of people using clear 2 liter pop (soda) bottles. Cut the top and bottoms off and then cut them length wise and you have a good surface to practice on.

You can also pickup 1/8 inch lexan/plexiglass at Home depot real cheap. I have 2 pieces 11X20 that I think were about 5 bucks.

You can also use the clear packaging that is used for all sorts of items bought at stores. It allows you to practice on irregular surfaces....
