I airbrushed an already painted (with Tamiya paint) with Modelflex clear gloss, some coats, letting it dry for hours between one coat and the next one, bit it didn't yield the expected results.

The surface is not polished, instead it is rough. DId I do something wrong?

I'm seriously thinking of apllying varnish with a soft brush.
