my first body(painting)
hi RCU
i just bought a nissan cefiro drift body and cutted it out and then im gonna paint it but im in a little doubt here.
my dad says im gonne paint it from the inside is that true?
do i gotta spray in more than 1 layer?
how many more layers?
how do i avoid drops running down and getting the body to look bad and un-pro?
is there a special technique?
i hope somebody will answer me cause im in a hurry getting it painted

Your dad is right, paint from the inside.
First coat should be a light one so the next coat of paint will stick better.
I do 1 light coat and 2 heavier coats.
also there is a thin sheet of plastic over the outside of the body. this stays on untill the painting is done then peel it off.
Also are you useing pactra paint ?

agreed.. but I just keep painting light coats. this ensures you'll never have bleeding or dripping. there have been times when painting 3 different colors where I ended up with 11 coats of paint in some areas.
