Default Two fast questions

Ok, so I'm going to paint my body that came with my TT01-E. However, before I do that I want to clear up two things that I'm a little uncertain of.

1, The body didn't come with a protective film on the outside, hopefully this doesn't matter
2, The holes for bodyposts and antenna are pre-drilled. This might cause some problems since.... there's no protective film on the outside. Should I cover the holes with something before I start to paint?

Btw, she's going to be yellow/orange'ish... Desert Orange I think the color's name is

Default RE: Two fast questions

get some blue painters tape from your local auto parts store.

tape up all the holes on outside of the body ensuring the tape is secured to the body with no wrinkles.

then i would get some saran wrap and cover the body. tape the edges of the saran wrap to the body on the spots that you are going to cut off.

then use tape to cover the windows on the inside that you dont want to paint.

then just paint the body on inside using paint that is designed for rc car bodies.
