Aww man, I was having more fun than the law allows [&o]
Now that the fun is over. Seriousness. If you object to Jason being on the team over moral reasons, then contact the AMA and go that route. Because you certainly aren't going to get anything actually DONE on a forum. I don't even know if they CAN or WOULD do anything, but maybe you can get an answer that way. If they even HAVE a position on this, I can't find it.
Because this isn't the way to go about it.
Now peace guys, I'm gone.
-Mike
Edit PS: Actually I almost forgot. I have one teensy weensy piece of unfinished business with pattern and RCU. So I'm only gone for the moment. Because I hate unfinished business, and this one's a doozy. And I won't be nearly as nice and forgiving as I was to Troy for the same thing. Actually this one even shocked me....

The main cause of the problem that exists is Jason . His actions and his actions alone lead to this siuation. His actions(stepping aside to take care of his legal matters) could also relieve a lot of the strife we are seeing out here. Secondary in fault is the AMA and NSRCA for letting it fester.
The NSRCA is not at fault here - they do not control who participates on the US F3A team, and therefore have no say in this matter at all.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Having no contol is not the same as having no say. The national org that represents pattern has no say? Find out what your membership thinks and relay that to the AMA. Yes the NSRCA SHOULD have a say.

I am the NSRCA D-3 VP and we do not have a say as an organization on team members. Thats the reason the NSRCA has done nothing but it has been discussed amongst the board" SO GET OFF THE BACK OF THE NSRCA". I would also not support an action by the NSRCA against any member based on allegations.

Case of whipped cream and a chicken suit? I'm not gonna sleep tonight trying to work that one out
I'm sorry you left us, Mike, you've done some nice work, hope your health is doing well. Kudos for giving this thread what it deserves; it's supposed to be about flying, not about allegations. What really fries my mind, though, is how a guy from down under lets the way the US chooses its Team get his panties in a wad. This isn't the ruck, mate. Since this is our NATIONAL Team, it is inappropriate to work out our difficulties in an international thread, for those of us from the States. Nobody hangs their dirty laundry out in public, and neither should we. The US will submit a Team, per the rules, and that is all that needs be discussed.
Best of luck to all in Muncie this year, the WC is a great contest and I hope you all enjoy this venue!

Not to sound a negative note but, after rereading the censored version of this thread and and realizing how the U.S. F3A Team selection process is currently being mishandled, I've come to my own conclusion that all this has been a wasted effort. In my humble opinion, it really doesn't matter because CPLR is coming to Muncie to hold another clinic and give lessons___AGAIN! Regards, Everette

I certainly think he will. And I'd guess he won't be the only european who's signed-up for the teachers posts. And you guys who are organizing the event, remember video streaming. If anyone can bring the WC F3A to digital life it's got to be the US.Can't wait.

CPLR is not unbeatable. Quique proved that. Andrew, Jason, and Chip are VERY driven people when it comes to competition, and have shown they can be at the sharp end of the stick. Chip of course has won it all before. I just hope we don't see the same sort of nonsense that happened at the last WC where CPLR threw the last round so BPLR could score highly enough to give France the team trophy... Allegedly.

I don't think he is unbeatable, there are quite a few at that level. I think anyone from the US team has a legitimate shot at being at the top. Also, I'm not sure how he "threw" the last round in '09, since he won it. Here are the final results from the official site. CPLR won every round in the finals. Looks like BPLR just had a great round at the end. Mayr and Silvestri both flew very well at last years Euro champs also.

I think that was '07 when BPLR flew in the finals when the wind died down. Had been windy the whole contest. Then I think Jason was next but they had to wait for a full scale to land, and by the time it had the wind picked back up and BPLR won the round.

bjr 93tz, who do you think you're talking to? Are you smoking dope? Are you planning to come to Muncie? If this is a threat, then you best be prepared to back your smart mouth up! Regards,

Really sorry if you took it the wrong way, given my other posts in the thread didn't contain any humour it's understandable. My Bad.

bjr 93tz, I accept your apology. I just happen to have been a fan of CPLR for the last several years and have yet seen any other world class F3A flyer as consistent as him. It's not that I'm against our U.S. team, it's just that there has been too much controversy, etc, for me. I'm sure you understand. I do wish them well along with you and your Aussie Team. Regards, Everette

Then I apologize Arch.. I had it in my head somehow that there was some controversy over the last round which enabled France to win, and BPLR to finish 2nd. Not sure why, and I probably should have just kept it to myself.. lol.
