Control Throwa 2M Vector
#2

I'm pretty sure who owned that airplane because there was only one Vector in So Cal that I know of.
Not many were made and almost all of them stayed in Canada.
I arranged the purchase of this model from the designer Peter Thanhauser and I did some work on that airplane.
I don't know what the control throws were but as I remember it flew fine.
I would start off with 10 degrees aileron and elevator with about 40 expo on both.
For the rudder, get as much throw as you can with about 60 expo to start with.
These throws will be ok for normal flying but for snap rolls I would start with 20 degrees on aileron, 7 degrees elevator and 20 rudder.
Spins will require about 10 or 15 aileron, about 15 elevator and max rudder...perhaps a bit less rudder.
Also, you probably will not need high and low rates....the above rates will get you in the ballpark and you can tune it up from there.

Your my gudarian angle. I'll set it up according to your reccomendations. This is my first pattern aircraft and I want to keep it in one piece. The plane is and I'm gussing about eleven years old and has minor comestic damage to the canopy and belly pan other than that it's in excellent condition. I searched all over the web and came up with no help. I have the gauges and meters to set the angles and percentages. My JR 10X transmitter should have no problem with the mixes and I'll start with baby steps untill I can get ahead of the machine. I taught myself how to fly helicopters and this will be another learning process. Thanks again for your help and assistance. From what you said I'm now the one and only owner of this classic pattern aircraft in the USA.
