I do not wish to start or continue an argument but all the things he mentioned previously are distorted from reality and lies.

I will not write everything here, but please send me a PM if someone wishes so and I will show all that is true.

Chip, you are lying when you say I sent a broken model to Wayne, when my damaged wing was used by you in your Visa at the WC. Everyone saw you used my orange wing and you only cut from your wing the portion of the FAI sticker, please don't lie, the picture of that is attached; Even more, Wayne can corroborate I sent a totally new wing because the SFG and the wing tip where not even glued., and no paint my licence number.....

You say there was 20 people looking at the damage in my wing which was destroyed and the one Wayne received had a broken aileron and a small part which was not not broken in my wing.

Besides been a liar you are ungrateful because you don't tell that in my factory was built, painted and then sent a new wing in three days so you could later sell your Visa finals day at the WC.

In relation to Dan L, Dan U the models which are frustrating, you should be ashamed the way there were painted and delivered to me, stop deceiving people, we had to work hard to finish them in a decent way due to the terrible job your shop did. I am attaching a picture just in case somebody doubts they way there were delivered to me to be shipped to the customers; even more, I agreed with Dan L. to send him a new wing and stab this week because they were even painted backwards!! of course at my expense when it should not be like that, and you call yourself a professional.....

To tell about the way I build competition models in Argentina? you do not know how do we work in Argentina or it's labor laws... you could not build two airplanes for yourself for the WC as you tell everybody, and I had to make them myself in 15 days when you asked me to please do it.

This is the last I write here, whoever needs to know more can contact me in a private way.
Regards
Marcelo

Had to stop laughing for a minute. By the way hes trying to pull a fast one on the pics. 1st pick is my left crashed wing and his number two right wing. The last pic is the wing we did in a day that had some issues and got crushed when they were sent to us in mucie in a cardboard box. Marcelos right wing was unfixable I repaired the visa one. .

Ok here we go last time I promise.

You know what I got sucked in to responding. You guys know the truth, and if you agree with CA then that fine to. I pulled the post as I started thinking I used to enjoy writing here and this is not enjoyable.

I am prety sure most of us can read between the lines here. Classic sign of partnerhsip gone wrong, and both of them are just full of lie's

Sorry guys, couldnt help myself wedge between here a moment; Really, this should be locked or maybe even removed. This entire thread is meant for disaster, period, should it carry on.

Chip, you will be better off.

Someone close this thread.

Agreed Mel. Nothing good can come from airing dirty laundry like this.

I hope this is my last post on this thread,
Late this afternoon I received a Pay Pal email providing payment in full on my $1000 deposit. This money will go to Chip as he had already stepped up and refunded the deposit.
It's a shame that things have to deterioriate to such a low point before they are corrected!

It unfortunate that this even had to come to the forum. Hopefully it's a lesson learned for CA, and they can move forward and keep producing good viable pattern planes for us and realize customer service is top priority, because good customer service sells things.

People do make mistakes in life. Whether or not it's a mistake for CA or not is not my business really. They make their own business decisions. But Marcelo made it right by refunding the money so that's a huge step in the right direction. No need to boycott CA. That's silliness. He made the situation right so forgive and move on IMO (I didn't say forget, just forgive). There aren't plenty of companies providing planes IMO. We need CA around just like any other manufacturer. Running them out of business does none of us any good. Sure, it's ok to put them in check for a situation like this. Not saying it's not.

As for Chip, glad you got a good job, and hopefully you can continue on with your amazing paint skills. There are a lot of CA planes all over the place. I can say that your involvement with CA has hugely increased their sales, and put a lot of their products out there in the lime light. Sad to see that end. I'm sure their bank account will miss you!

Got my new wing from Marcelo today. He sent me a complete wing not just a wing half. These wings were made by who ever is now doing the finishing for CA, NOT C HYDE. The finish on these wings are second to none and without a doubt as good as the finish on the wings which were finished by Chip, both weigh under 400g (fully painted). Colour matching etc is exactly the same as my broken wing.
Now I can finish and fly this awesome looking machine.

With all due respect to all concerned (and having no 'dog in the fight' myself), perhaps we should keep in mind what might have - or have not - happened had not the public dust-up occurred.

By the way this whole thing has gone down, I'd think wayne should have received the apology... if any was to be given. He was shipped damaged (and used??) wings. How is that acceptable? Whats he to apologize for, recieving late, damaged and used(?) wings?? Hmmmm

Come on moderators... this thread is pointless destruction.

Ok time for a group hug everyone! Marcelo next time i think you should just refund the money and this whole thread would have never happened. All manufactures have difficulties with quality. Im sure of that. Especially when you use outside contractors. The difference is how you deal with them. Ca Models as far as I know has a good reputation and I'm sure will produce wonderful planes in the future. Cmon lets bring it in for a giant group hug!
