Hi, OK so I'm starting to get some feel for the new F13 schedule. Lots of fun! I have a question regarding the KE snaps. It starts from upright with a quarter roll onto KE and then two opposite snaps back onto KE and a quarter roll back to upright. The difficulty is the execution calls for the second snap to follow immediately and any straight line section between snaps should result in a downgrade.
With opposite spins the approach is to revert from the one spin direction immediately to the reverse direction without centering the sticks. Does the same apply for the KE snaps? i.e. should one transition from the one direction to the opposite direction without centering the sticks (which results in a delay between snaps)? Either way the snaps have to be well timmed. Will going from one snap direction immediately to the other place too much stress on the plane? How are you experienced F3A pilots doing this transition?
Note I'm doing the first snap as a +ve snap i.e. full up elev, full rudder in the same direction as required to keep the nose up and full Ail in same direction as rudder. For the second snap it's a -ve snap i.e. full down elev, full rudder in same direction as the 1st snap and full Ail in opposite direction as 1st snap. the snaps themselves look fine and hold their line etc.
Regards
Clint

well after I do the first snap, I hold the plane in knife edge for a split second, and then I do the other reverse snap. It think there has to be a slight stop in between them so judges can see that you did them in opposite directions, but I could be wrong.
