Been flying Venus II for 3 yrs. now with electric setup. Good flying plane, but ready to move to next level. What are some quality arfs that would be the next step up?

New or used.I personally don't know of any bad arf aircract produced currently or over the last several years.

I think for the price and flying qualities the Vanquish 2M is your best option, it flies very well, and at $650 you can get a real 2M.

What is your budget?

Nuance (F3AUnlimited.com by BJ Craft) is probably my choice right now, based on general cost, weight, and positive flight reports.

Less than $1000 for airframe.

That nixes the Nuance. The Vanquish and soon-to-be-released Osiris 2m are good candidates for that budget.
