Nik, welcome to the forums. I assume that is a euro symbol after the 700? It would be easier here for the guys to think in dollar amounts. I have no idea what the conversion rate is from the dollar to the euro. Other than that I have no where near the advice other guys can give you here, let's hope they get you the right answer.

I would have thought the Monolog 110 would come in at about that level
airframe 300 euro
motor and esc 200 euro
2 sets 8s lipo 200 euro

Hello Nik,
You could get a Vanquish 2M which should in that range, and I think Donatas Pazouli will be flying it at the next F3A Euros. With that budget try to get a 2M plane, the Vanquish is the ticket for that, I think is around 500€ for the ARF, you can get the motor ESC and Batteries from Hobby King under the rest of your budget.
Best regards
Alejandro P.

The reason the Vanquish is so pricey is because EF don;t have a dealer programme in all countries.
So some shops buy or "distributors" buy direct from the factory but they are charged retail i.e. $850 ex GST/VAT.
They then have to add shipping and a small mark up to make the effort worthwhile and suddenly you arrive at a high price for an airframe that sells cheap in the US.
Its the reason I can't get one in SA. So I am saving for the Jet Legends Neptuno instead.
Pity because the EF could do very well over here in the Novice, sportsman, Advanced and MAsters classes. The F3A guys are always going to spend the extra but for the beginners its an ideal 2x2. But its waaaaay too expensive.
Nik have you considered a Ultra Rc ROck n Roll? its an older airfram but also built up and quite cost effective if you can find one
