Default 2012 D1 vs. D2 Challenge

Due to a large number of contests in June in both districts and my running the NATS, I have decided to push this contest later into the year. I know that D2 has a northern contest in mid September, and D1 basically finishes in late August, so I wanted to get a feel for the possibility of a Labor Day weekend (Sept 1-2) contest. This would allow those traveling for a distance to have Monday off to assist with travel. I don't want to make it too late in the year as the weather can be iffy here after mid September, and I don't want it too early in August as many are still burned out from the NATS. Any thoughts?

That's really good news Arch, I'll update the calendar.

Sounds good, Arch.

Joan and I hope to make it this year. We like the locale and the Victorian Candle a lot. Probably even better if the weather is a bit cooler!

Bob

I would get your reservations early as that is a long weekend.

Great news, I may even be back flying well enough to compete. Doctors told me I needed to relax more after my visit to the hospital last week. What can be more relaxing than competing?
