Default Jetero Patern Contest 2012

Hi All

The Jetero Club will be hosting the 9th annual pattern shootout on June 2-3 for all classes. We are centrally located for flyers from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Our field is one of the best in Texas with a beautiful grass runway and wide open flying area, plus all the amenities: electricity for the electron boys, running water, flushing toilets and a very large covered pit area and a full kitchen with refrigerators.

We are located about 15 miles east of Humble Texas not far from FM 1960.

Come join us if you want to have a load of fun over the weekend and some great flying.

CD - Dick Mundee Co CD Ron Barr

We are fortunate enough to have Don Ramsey available for a AMA/FAI Judging Seminar beginning sharply at 8:00 AM Saturday at the field. This will be the last opportunity to get judging qualified prior to the Nats.

For further information contact me via cell @ 281-433-2555 anytime.

Shameless bump. Should be a nice warm day so leave the sweaters at home and come out for what should be a good one!! A/C in clubhouse/kitchen and one of the nicest sites in the state..bring an rv or tent. No Hookups but plenty of room. Lets get all the ususal suspects together again......

Glad to hear your going to make it. I wondered if you had a backup bird ready to go.

I have every intention of being there Saturday and Sunday.... and I hope I can find a way around the Space Shuttle delivery here in the Clear Lake area. Several roads are going to be closed as the shuttle makes its way from the Port of Houston. All I need to be able to do is get to Beltway 8....

Thanks and well do.

I am not sure if I can participate in the contest as my Neu F3A motor broke during today's practice (the cooling fan came loose). If somebody can loan me a Neu F3A, please send me a PM.

Chris @ f3aunlimited shipped out a Neu to me today but surely it can not make it here before the contest. Just too bad.

For those people planning to attend the judging seminar, I recommend you review the FAI Maneuver Execution guide available on the NSRCA's website under the Judging section. It is an excellent summary of the FAI judging criteria and a quick read through the slides will prepare you well for the seminar.

Thanks,

Andre Bouchard

Done. I was familiar with most of it, but that's a good refresher.

Great contest, Dick! I gotta second what John said about the un-Gnome, this is an event that can really put a spark back into the pattern contests if it catches on! Great job on that, Chuck!
