Default XIGRIS SERVOS

Hi all,

I am currently building a ZN LINE XIGRIS and I was wondering if my choice of servos was suitable.
I have never used these servos before and I would be greatful of any advice from the experts.
Also any photos of servo instalation will be appreciated.

I am using the following

YS 170 CDI

AILERONS FUTABA BLS 551 X 2
ELEVATOR FUTABA BLS 153 X 2
RUDDER FUTABA BLS 452

Thank you in advance

MAVROS,

That will work just fine! I use basically the same servos in a Futaba digital, but not the BLS series. They were just coming out when I finished my planes in 2008.

Best of luck with the plane. [8D]

MAVROS,

Also beware, with the YS 170 and two mini servos in the stab they are going to wear out from the vibration, if you fly alot. Most guys run the DPS single servo system with the YS. I had about 50 flights on my primary plane before I converted it over from the YS 170 to EP and my servos were fine in the stabs.

Just be aware over time you will have to replace them as the gear train gets sloppy.

Thanks Bill
I am inclined to use the MK Dual elevator system......works fine in the Zeque
However I am a bit concerned about CoG issiues without the 2 servos at the back

regards

I prefer the two servo system.
