Everyone I hope you enjoy the following videos. This is what our hobby is supposed to be about. Chris W and Mike C I want to thank you for everything you guys have done. I know there are some folks out there that want to talk negative about us but as I think everyone can see from these short clips Bakersfield is where its at and going to be. It was the highlight in my modeling career to be a part of this and trust me there is a lot more to come. I think the video speaks for itself...... sound off off if your coming next year it will be 3 days..>>>>>

I freaked out when Joe Bridi showed the Dirty Birdy in part 2 at 10:24.They had givin theplaneto Bill Bennett at the TOC my guess is 1975. It had all the signitures of the fliers andofficialson the wing panels and low and behold I found mine. Man that's a long long long time ago.
It was great to see Joe. He still looks great. He truly is one of our sports great ones. Mike Mueller

Wow! This would have been great to attend. Congratulations to your group for bringing this together!!!!
It is going to take some strong leadership and creative thinking within the pattern community, to re-introduce or re-brand itself to the modeling world as mainstream and fun, rather than a fringe part of the sport. Although it goes against many other trends in the hobby (like crazy 3d sport flying), i think "retro events" is part of the solution for pattern. Im not sure how retro events would draw new pilots, but i think they do a lot to bring back and keep the current pilots excited and looking forward to the next event. Thats a start.
Great job,
Jim W.
