Good afternoon all,
The NSRCA Board of Directors approved the proposed Advanced and Masters sequences for the 2013-2014 cycle today. These sequences may be found on the NSRCA website. They have not been altered since the first part of June and will stand as such. Many thanks go to Dale Olstinske, Larry Kauffman, Verne Koester, Derek Koopowitz, Dave Lockhart, Jon Lowe and John Gayer for providing two great sequences for the next cycle. We would also like to thank all those who took the time to provide input and give feedback as the sequences progressed to their current and final versions. Thanks also to Joe Lachowski for beginning this journey. We hope you all enjoy their endeavors.
Warmest Regards,
Scott McHarg

Like the Master's sequence! Thanks guys. The similarities to P13 should prompt a few brain farts and associated zeros for me!

But I am retiring at the end of the year and we are looking forward to a leisurely stay at the Victorian Candle next year, so much did we enjoy it last year!

I think they did an excellent job. I love the new advance. Again I think the advance have a more complex sequence than masters. Both a good.
well done

I hate to miss it, Arch, but I absolutely cannot get out of work commitments this year.

Fly's ok. It's not really a figure 6 flown on the left though. More like a lower case d, lol. Seems odd to have the humptys so close to each other and also the stall turns somewhat close to each other, but it flys ok. It's not boring. Not a fan of a high reverse knife edge. Didn't go well in the FAI pattern IMO, it was hard to see/judge properly.
Still, it is what it is, I am not trying to complain. I'll fly 10 square loops in a row if that's what's on the schedule! haha Good job. I know a lot of work went into it. Thanks for that!
Where's the roller?

Thanks for the link! I got call sheets made up already. More fun to fly on the sim than the current sequence.

Recharged the batts for flying today and got to check consumption for the flights early last week. Put back 2267, 2285 and 2256 mAh, so it isn't power hungry with throttle management.
How's that for consistency? Batts were 2 Sky 4400 40C and a Nano 4500 35C. I flew other batteries but did not fly strictly the sequence and land, so consumption was more.

Have been searching on the web and have found a couple versions of the Advanced sequence; one has 2nd maneuver as a double stall turn, the other one has a square loop as the 2nd maneuver. I can't figure out which is the final version. Can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Bill

I would always recommend looking at and trusting the NSRCA website! The sequence that it has listed for 2013/2014 has a Double Stall Turn as maneuver #2.
Thanks

Thanks, Jon. I didn't find it on nsrca.us via the links, I found it in a google search and it came directly as a pdf. I'll look again when I'm back at work on a worthy computer.

Great, Thanks! Any idea where we can find the Sportsman and Intermediate sequences for the coming season? I can't find the updated AMA Rulebook, either. I'm guessing I may have to wait until next year - but am curious as I'd like to spend the current and coming days off looking a bit at these.

you have to click on the sequence committee section on the main menu on NSRCA web site to view the new ones for 2013
