Don't forget to register so we can get a judges matrix and flight order figured out before you arrive. First come, last up. [link=https://sites.google.com/site/nsrcad3/home/contest-registration]Registration here[/link]

Hey Jason why even show them 200m and beyond? That should be severely downgraded! Unfortunately most people that judge completely ignore that fact when I look at the scores they give for such flights.

Freddy, Ryan's right. I've seen pilots flying out over the treeline at times and no one think anything of it. It's just a reference for the pilots so when they come here they have an idea of where things are.
Now for the fun part, pilot raffle donations. This list will be updated as we get more companies donating prizes for the pilot raffle.

Here is what I was thinking of doing, but want the pilots that are coming to have input on this. Would anyone be turned off by having a donation given towards the US Team Fund for their pilot ticket for the raffle prizes? You can donate as little as a $1 or as much as you want, all of these raffle funds will go towards the team fund. Regardless of the donation size, you still just get you 1 pilot raffle ticket. Thoughts?

*UPDATE*
Only 7 weeks to go until the 2012 D-3 Tangerine Pattern Classic (for 2013). It looks like we have 15 pre-registered thusfar.
Advanced & Masters will fly the new approved sequences for 2013. FAI will fly P & F 2013. Sportsman and Intermediate will continue to fly their 2011/2012 sequences.
In addition to 2 days of competition, there will be door prizes for the pilots and thanks to a very generous cash donation, there will be 5 drawings for the pilots in attendance during both days of the contest. Three drawings of $50 each at various times during the day on Saturday followed by a single $50 drawing Sunday morning, then a $100 Grand Prize drawing will take place at the award ceremony on Sunday.
Winning pilots must be present in order to claim cash prizes. No exceptions. If cash goes unclaimed, it will be added to the Grand Prize drawing pot.
Uncle Jason has requested (via RCU) your input as respect his idea for making donations to the World Team. I think it's a good idea!
Remember, the field will open at noon on Friday, November 30th for practice.
See you then!

Marcio,
You know that even though you registered twice, you're only qualified for the $50 prizes once right lol.
A couple of prize packs have shown up already, looks like things are already starting to come together.

Jason,
I am sorry to have to tell you that I will not be able to come to your contest this year. Both my pattern planes are back in Canada but I plan to bring one back with me when I return next fall. So next year I'll be there. Promise!

As I was sitting here doing some emails, in walks UPS with 2 boxes. Thinking nothing of them I sign for them and put them on the floor. I glance at the label and it was addressed to me, followed by Tangerine Pattern. Who's it from... Great Planes. But 2 boxes, hmmmm. So I open the smaller one thinking maybe there's some hats, maybe a servo or 2... but there's an [link=http://www.osengines.com/escs/index.html]OS 100A ESC[/link]!!!! So I grab the bigger one expecting to see some shirts, stickers and cozies, but no.... there's a new [link=http://www.futaba-rc.com/systems/futk8100-8j/index.html]8J Futaba Radio[/link] in this box!

Ivan,
You can always stop by and say Hi... but I can't let you fly your nice Extra, sorry...lol. If you have time, swing on by, I'm sure there are a few guys around that wouldn't mind striking up a conversation with you.

Just a quick update. The futurecast shows that the weather should be perfect temps with winds from the NE (right to left patterns). Over the weekend we've had Victor Diaz and Jon Lowe here practicing as well as the 'Wind crew' (Humberto, Neil, Mike and Steve) plus Zachary now has his Focus flying. Things are coming together nicely for next weekend and more prizes arrived/arriving this week!
We just got a special donation for the first 30 registered pilots....
$10 gift certificates to Dicks Sporting Goods
