RE: post some pictures of your pattern plane!!
Hello perttime.
The Centro is my own design and manufacture. (home-made)
It is vaguely based on my previous model named "Trix", which I flew in the Nordic class at last years Nordic Championship.
(Not sure if you were there, as I do not know your real name.)
The fuselage is fiberglass with balsa core, while the wings and tailplane are polystyrene/balsa/film.
(Currently working on molds for wings/tailplane as well.)
Regards,
Magne

Hallo Magne
Your new model looks really, really nice ! Looking forward to see it fly in F3A next year...right ?
What is encouraging to me is to see that it is possible to complete such a project when having two kids... :-)
At the moment, I can just dream of designing and scratch building my own models the way I used to before !!
See you as soon as the season is here.

I am nowhere near a competition level pilot myself. I watched the Nordics a couple of years ago at Jämi, in Finland... flying in a drizzle, somebody's plane was lost.

RE: post some pictures of your pattern plane!!
Hi guys!
many nice planes here...and Magne ..that one looks just great...had u told me that it was a kit from any one like zn , ca or any other big ones ..i would have said ok..really like a professional job!!congrat..hope it flies like it looks!
Well here is mine for this year..the ZN Twister!
its No#3 out off the Zn molds!
and in this moment just waiting to get in the air..but field is cowered in a cold white stuff!
weigth ended up around 4500-4600...difficult to ballance it on the smal weigth i have !
If you look at the wheel pants you see the smal m3 unbrako that goes into the main shaft for the wheel ..this stiffen up the pants and help to support it in high gras ..really a nice way to fasten it.

Beautiful job on your Twister. I hope that you have a lot of fun with it. Where do you buy the ends that you have on your axles, I really like those a lot. Take care.

Curare, used to have one. Powered by a Webra Speed 61 with a Rev-up 11x7, must have been turning at least 50,000 rpm. Radio was a Kraft Signature Series, with a plug-in synthesized Tx module. The best open gimbaled system, even better than the Pro-Lines.
Still remember the first maneuver in FAI, Figure M with 1/4 roll up down.

Mike,
Just received the DZ's about a month ago. Have about 10 flights on the first one. The 2nd one is waiting for my Black Magic to be done to go in the front of it. I received my 14MZ just before Christmas. Have to thank Frank Noll and Team Futaba for that, as well as Dave Shadel at YS Performance for the DZ's.
