Hello friends!
Thought I’d share a video clip from the WC in Poland.
After the finals Quique had some fun in the wind with a flashdance that he borrowed from PL-Prod. I was really impressed. Luckily I caught some of the flight with my video camera.
Clip can be found at

I hope there will be no bandwidth problem.
Sorry for the low sound quality.

That plane looks really responsive to me. Is this performed with modest pattern control throws? Same CG? It seems to handle well even with those high winds.
I am really impressed, I got used of only seeing larger planes do that.

The plane is a Flashdance, essentially a pattern plane tailored for 3D, the planes are used for Artistic Aerobatics events. The control surfaces are not like a pattern plane and neither are the throws.
Quique was flying that plane with a YS 140 DZ I beleive, from what I remember that model did not belong to him but to PL Prod who had it up for sale at the event.

Well...there's flying, then FLYING, then QUIQUE. Probably only a handful of pilots in the world could do that type of 3D with Pattern precision like that.
Also have to consider that was probably the first time he flew that airplane....holy cow.

Now that guy can fly!
These others guys are just playing.
I like to see come guy with a 40% edge torque roll, no pirouette down the runway in a gusting cross wind!
