Default Futaba hv servos

Hi all ,

Just wondering what servo arms is everyone using on the BLS174 servo. Other than plastic ones supplied.
The spline on these servos is 8mm not the standard 6 and none of my aluminium arms will fit.

Seems to me a bad design by FUTABA.....you would think that they make all servos with the same diameter spline.

Does anyone have a logical explanation!!

Good Question,

No idea, and the 154 are the same, as I use the wheel for ailerons, never looked into the aluminum one.

Gday Jon,

Nothing wrong with the plastic ones but here in Australia we get a lot of sunny days which makes them very brittle and I have a couple actually snap.

But, they're under the wings! Are you spending too much time inverted?!
