Default Storm EX pattern plane info requested

Hi! I recently came into a brand new beautiful custom built Storm EX pattern plane with YS 120 and tuned pipes. I am new to pattern and do not know a lot about these planes. Can someone tell me if this is a good pattern plane, what it may be worth , etc? It was built by a top notch builder, beautifully hand painted. Thanks for your time and help. I'm anxious to learn more about pattern flying and the pattern planes.

Designed by Bryan Hebert in the mid 90's. Here's a post from RCU a few year ago:- http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/clas...-storm-ex.html

Bryan also post here frequently, may be he will reply to you.

Dale Teasley Built those planes. He was a good friend of mine. Actually I would like to know what he is up too!

Dale was a contract builder for me and a Very good painter /builder, top notch.
Those were all scratch built planes from my plans. Glassed- painted fuse, monocote wings.

The value is in the eye of the beholder now. It`s a 20 year old design. But still better than anything you can buy today as a entry level plane. It`s capable of flying Pattern up to advance and would be a good solid entry level airplane. There are guys who still want that plane out there Because it flew so well. I sold a glass Kit and a Builders kit with foam wings back in the day 1994 Wow Where does the time go!

If you plan to fly Pattern It would be a good place to start.
Would love to see some photo`s

I had a Storm 3D, and flew it in the Sportsman pattern. It was a solid plane, flew really stable in the wind.
