2015 RCACF Tangerine Pattern Classic
Start practicing the new sequences folks as the dates for the RCACF Tangerine Pattern Classic are March 28 & 29, 2015.
Pre-registration available at www.nsrca.us website but not in the D3 page as in the past. On their homepage, click on "Events/Results" to open, next click on "List Events" then click on "Apopka Spring Pattern Contest" in the list.
$30 pilot registration fee. Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in all classes. Lunch will be available for a modest price.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

I haven't been able to fly since I was in Orlando over Christmas. Weird weather in Alabama this year. Cold, windy or wet or any two of the three at once. Last week we have 8.1 inches of snow, this week over an inch of sleet and freezing rain. May get to fly today. Hope to make it down for the contest.

Weather: It appears it will be mild, mostly wet & windy for practice late day Friday. Calling for clear skies, breezy (out of the north/northwest) with cooler temps on Saturday. Clear skies, cool temps and less wind on Sunday.

RCACF Pattern Practice
Jetmech43, I'd say go for it. If any club member objects (don't think they will) or if the gate is locked when you arrive (weather due to deteriorate today too) let me know. Are you Randy F? Please reply and I'll send you a PM.

Had a great time and kudos to Steve H., volunteers and RCACF for hosting the event. Glad the weather worked out better for the pilots. Since the photos are too large to post here without compressing and mainly I'm too lazy...here's a link to my blog:
