Planning the trip to my old stomping grounds. Now practice, practice and more practice!

Reminder Space City's club field will be open all day Friday May 1st for official practice. I understand there are contestants indicating they will be arriving as early as Thursday.

Weather looks great for camping at the field this weekend. Loading up tonight to head that way tomorrow morning. With this weather, they should have a good turnout for the contest.

I had a great time at the Space City contest this weekend. Good fellowship, food and fun!. The field was superb, the contest went smoothly and the wind was not too bad.
Looking forward to next year already!...

Many thanks to Glen Watson and the Space City RC club for hosting a great contest. I understand there were 30 + contestants, 6 from the North Dallas club. Excellent turn out and the contest ran smoothly. Big shout out to Leslie who gets retuned score sheets into the hands of pilots before they get back to the pits after flying the round. I look forward to participating again next year.

This was just a great contest. It was a beautifully prepared flying site and Glen and team did a great job. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Many thanks to the club for putting this on.
