Setting Up servos

The other day I was praising the features of programmable servos and mentioned the ability to set the neutrals to exactly 1.5 msec. I've been flying a Jeti RC system and its default neutrals are 1.5 (sub trim, trim, etc. are all at zero) whereas Futaba's were always some odd number like 1.52. Tony Frackowiak mentioned that a few of the JR servos have adjustable neutrals. First power up the servo with the desired neutral pulse width and put the servo arm as close as possible to where you want it. Then with the screw from the servo arm removed, insert a small flat blade screw driver in the hole and rotate it until the servo arm is exactly square with the servo body. Tony mentioned the 9411 and 3711 servos and I was able to adjust my 3421 elevator servos.

Nothing new here. Does anybody remember the servos with the square output shaft? They all had a screwdriver slot to adjust the pot so the arm could be centered or offset slightly to provide differential.
