Hi gang! I am familiar with 3D planes and have the hang of it as I am learning new moves every weekend. Now my question is whats a good patern plane to get into? I have a Saito 91 that could use a new home. I plan on getting a bigger Saito like 100 or 120 as well this fall and am contemplating a Pattern ship.
I dont want to break the bank but something decent with 3D abilities would be nice
Any links to Pattern flying would be appreciated it as well!
thanks

Check out the Quest 3-D .90. It is capable of 3-D and is an excellent pattern ship with normal control throws. I have seen it do FAI manouvers and was impressed enough to buy one. I don't have it put together yet, but the quality of this ARF is excellent. You can find these being sold on E-bay by Creek for about $225.

The Widebody 60 is my first pattern ship and its great, it was an easy build. I have a older OS 91 surpass in it and it flies great. I plan on installing Saito 100 in it soon. If you want a kit go with it, if you want an ARF then go with the Quest 90, thats going to be my next plane.
