CPLR Oreka 80 - does it exist ?

Hello all,
I saw an Oreka 80 plane on the CPLR FB page but I can not find any more info anywhere, just a few photos on some Chinese F3A flyer on FB. I have an YS 70DZ CDI new in a box and I would love to match this motor with a modern (and a bit funky) plane like Oreka 80 (Oreka 70). Does anyone have any info on that allegedly "upcoming" small F3A plane ?
Cheers!

Hi Claude,
Yes I saw these pictures but it looks to me that somehow CPLR and Hui Yang could not agree on marketing terms for that small Oreka version - or maybe there is another reason.... It's a real pity, I really like the Oreka shape and the looks of it and I have a YS DZ70 CDI motor waiting to be put in something worthy. Let's see...

I think it's not available yet, so no news to share so far...
Reading from the box graphics - we might expect that it will be manufactured by Flight Model and marketed by Hui-Yang. It looks also that it will be somewhat bigger than previous 50-70 size F3A planes - quoted weight 3200g for GP - and length also quite bigger at almost 1.6m, plus a beefy fuselage. The wingspan is around the same as my Oxalys 50 but these wings are swept and quite wide-chorded so it seems it's going to be a larger bird overall. I hope it will fly well with YS DZ-70CDI that I keep for this plane. Plan B will be to use FZ-80CDI but it's only marginally stronger if at all.

The ARF is available in Japan if it helps you. This link is from a modeler's site I follow and he is beginning a build series on the kit. It mentions the Japan hobby shop Oreka-80 EP/GP ARF Machine (Parts Enclosed) - HOBBYNET (hobbynet-jp.com) source in the video.............

Thanks for the info. The components look nice, but no info about weights ... it‘s real the question, if the YS-80 has enough power. I assume that CPLR tested the plane with Yamada engine, but I could not find anything.
