Default Assistance needed identifying this model

Hey all I need some help IDing this model. I recently purchased this barn find Pattern or maybe its a Pylon plane for around $25. It had an older Kraft AM radio system installed and no engine but looks like a .40 or .60 would fit. The fuselage is fiberglass construction and the wings are foam core, balsa sheeted/ glassed. I've found similar airframes on Google search but none with an open cockpit and rounded vertical stab like this one. I plan on making the necessary repairs to get it back in the air but just wanted some info first.

Wingspan: 63"
Fuselage length: 47"

Thanks
Steve
