Hi All,
I just picked up a kit of the USA Star from Direct Connection. I would like to make this an AA, fun to use, easy maintenance plane. Does anyone have kit building recommendations that would both increase its use in AA, and reduce mixes (IE, does stab need to be lowered, wing raised, moved forward, etc..)
I'm already considering moving the stab forward to accommodate larger elevator surfaces. This plane has the "long-nose" look to it. I'm going to use a 2-cycle & fixed gear, but wonder if since I'm already going to more the stab forward, should I move the wing forward as well to avoid a nose-heavy plane????
Thanks
Jim W.

Jim, I would suggest contacting Dave Von Linsowe. He should be able to help as he will be the most familiar with this plane.
PS. I had 3 of them and liked flying them a lot.
