Default CA Eclipse Pattern Plane

I just received 5 Eclipse kits for that a group of us locally purchased from CA Models USA. These people are great to work with and the quality of the planes / kits could not be any better. Hugo and Marcelo are wonderful people to work with and the value is excellent for this caliper of pattern plane. Pictures of the building process will be posted at www.omahawks.org in the workshop section as we proceed this winter. If you are looking for a plane this winter you might want to check them out.

The USA location is:

Good luck with them. You guys in Ohaha sure have a great pattern group. What engines will you be running in the planes? Mike

Mike,

Thanks. We have a way to go to match your group though. Most of them will be using YS's. Either a 140 or DZ.

Ron

You can call Hugo to get the current price. I think they have some new special going currently but am not sure.

Ron,

Have you had a chance to weigh the fuselages? I received an Eclipse basic kit. The fuselage (fuse, canopy, chin cowl) was fairly heavy at 933g (32.9 oz.). I am doing a survey to see what the current batches of Eclipses weigh. My Fantasy fuselage only weighed 820g.

Thanks,

Steve

I have not yet weighed the fuse. I will try to do this and get the information posted. However, from initial observation this fuse appears no heaver than others I have recently worked with. (Temptation, Focus, Patriot).
