I have a lark one one size smaller than yours. i would keep with the FIXED u/c as i have been tol if you have the retracts you have to 'beef' the surrounding area up so it does not break on a heavy landing.
trust me with the fixed u/c and the spats over the wheels it looks great in the air!

im not sure about the servo hole.. i will have a quick look at mine later and see if i can spot an obvious place.... it has to be sitting there right in front of you (as they always do!)

Good luck with every thing.
Have a great christmas yourself and enjoy the new year.

PS: (what surface are you using as runway???) (tarmac or grass ?)
Grass will rip the retracts out pretty fast while concrete will take a little longer

Derek,
I have dug out the instructions and it show's the retract servo position in the left wing panel(top!) next to the wing joint. The box is 66mm long and 46mm wide. I dosn't say how far the box is from the LE but look about 35/40mm on photo. I will post the instruction to you now I have found them.

Also check you will have enough ground clearance before you commit to the retracts. You might find you struggle to swing anything bigger than a 14/15" prop as the leg length is pre determined buy the well size. Just a thought.
