I'm finishing the set up my Widebody. The "instructions" say 30 - 35% and up to 40% for 3D. I can calculate either that as % of cord or as % of MAC, but where are most guys setting their cg? Like in inches from leading edge at the root?

I got the info from Marcelo in an email. It's 130mm from trailing edge (5.118 inches). Thanks Marcelo.

Thanks, please post your cg. I think he meant trailing edge measured at the tip.

The CG in mine is at 15 cm behind the leading edge at the fuse side. That is 40% of the wing chord at the root.

The wing is tapered at both the leading and trailing edge so I find it unnecessary to calculate the MAC.

Thanks rsuarez...That's about where I figured. Just under 6" from leading edge at the root. Now I can fly it as soon as the snow melts...
