Ijust got a used phentom 2m with 140dz. it has a clamp on the fuel line where they exit the fuss to fill the tank.. what is the clamp for?\. I[
]t also has a check vauel in one line . dident think the dz had one. any help please.. Eddie

Hi,
the clamp is to prevent fuel from entering the engine during fuelling, which will cause the engine to flood.
The check valve is probably in the vent line to the tank, this is a common way to set them up. It allows air into the tank to replace the fuel being sucked up by the engine, but does not allow fuel to come out when you are filling the tank.
