just finished my new Onyx testfligth yesterday, as we fly in Norway had to stop because snow , got out today and had made some adjustment on some small things had one nice flight and on this fuc....landing one tree was growing like a hell and grabbed my plane in the left wingtip and smash...........
luckily it seems like only the wings are ruined fuse is OK besides the stab that are lose!
life is hard!!!![

but if this plane are a copy off the Focus i can tell that its a good plane out of the box!
some off the work that was done on it was not that great but , for that price yes ...good!

Gee Rune!
those fast growing trees that you mentioned seem to grow all round the world even here in New Zealand I know there are lots of flyers who have been caught out by a tree that "wasnt there a minute a go!"

Ahh yes, the plane eating tree.
Aeromodellus carnivorus I beleive.
They're a growing problem. I've tried spraying for them but they're like Jehovah's witnesses, they just keep coming back!

Well!
has started the process rebuilding the plane !
the fuse is almost back in business , has to build a new set off wings , luckily i have a set that is already cut , planned to be for another plane but that is no problem ,they are a bit thicker but that maybe slows the plane down some , it was a bit to fast, but lovely to do a knife edge in 10 meters in almost 200 km and only a light touch off rudder almost like late 80's ..no mixing needed!
