Default Saito 150

Hi All.

I have a Carl Goldberg extra 300 with a Saito 150...

And I´m thinking about an 2x2 mts pattern plane.

I don´t have money enought right now to by a webra 160 or YS or OS140RX to this plane.

Is that a good idea to use this saito in a pattern airplane ?

I will buy one of these ones:
http://www.gugumodels.com.br/fashion.php
or
http://www.gugumodels.com.br/tornado.php

PS:
R$ 1.300,00 is about US$450.00 (airplane kit) or
R$ 2.500.00 (about US$850.00 an ARF).

thanks for any tip

Wilker.

The Saito is fine. Whats important is that the motor runs well and gives enough power for the plane to perform properly, not the brand name.

The Saito 150 will haul a 10lb pattern plane comfortably using 16x8 or 15/10 on at least 20% nitro. a YS140L will ofcourse give you better performance but the Saito 150 will do nicely.

with this engine, is there a possibility to get power to infinite upline ?

I think that a beaultifull pattern flight is that slow , constant speed and smooth...

considering P05, I just need full power in upline to do the number 17 manover,( up line, positive snap, continue upline and then half inside loop) .... the rest of the P05 I think that with this engine is gonna flight well.

about the airplanes... any opinion about fashion or tornado ?

thanks for the comments, and sorry for my english.

Tornado is more beaultiful than fashion...

but Tornado is for "Artistic manouver"... has large size elevator and rudder...

fashion is specific for F3A

I don´t want to do flat spin, knife spin, elevator, torque roll... I want to learn and practice P05.

thanks for all.
