Default KaZoom - Aerobatic Biplane

Just want to share some pics of my last project. Unfortunately I lost the plane at the 5th flight, because I did not tighten the screw of the elevator servo properly. But I will rebuild it asap. All data are still availble, next time I will convert most of the balsa parts into CNC cut poplar plywood. Also molds for canopy and cowling are ready, so rebuilding the plane is much faster than building for the first time. See the complete project [link=http://www.rclineforum.de/forum/thread.php?threadid=40623&page=1&sid=d15825defae02 32507c41e765c70770e]here[/link]. The weight was just 5,6kg with a 160 size MVVS gas engine. Wingspan1,9m, length 2m.

Hi Boogie,

it was a hobby project only, I don´t have plans. We only lasercut 5 kits until now for some friends. You may subtract about 1,35kg from the a/m weight to get the weight without engine and exhaust.

Hi Ralf !

Great job ! I have already had the chance to have some shots dropped into my mailbox.

Questions, why did not you give any profil to the stab and rudder ? And, according to the design of the wing, does the shape of the rudder and stab do respect it ? To be honest to you, that is the only point who disturb me on your amazing job.

Anyway, there is nothing more beautiful than a bipe... and again, you give us a wonderful example.

When are you going to kit a new batch ? Please put me on the list !

Btw, how does it fly ?
