Default Graupner MC24 and a Multiplex PPM Duel Rx

Folks,

I know this is not the forum for this.... However the best source of knowledge is here!!

I have a Graupner MC24 Tx and a Multiplex (PPM) Duel conversion Rx.

My Question:

Do I need to buy Graupner or Multiplex crystals?
Can I use a Graupner Tx 62mhz (NOT Duel Conversion) crystal with a Multiplex Rx 62mhz duel conversion crystal?

There is a reason I want to use this Rx; The model has Multiplex digital servos throughout with multiplex connectors.
I do not want to go soldering new ends on all the servos!

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,

CEB

I have no experience with this problem. That being said, the circuits are designed to use a particular type of crystal. I would use the MPX crystal in the MPX Rx and the Graupner crystal in the Graupner Tx. Do a through range check before launch.

Hi,

I own an MC24. Graupner or JR crystals in the MC24 (JR makes Graupner and the Tx module is identical to all other JR Tx modules) and MPX crystal in the multiplex Rx.
