I am looking into getting my first Pattern Plane. Where is a good place to locate good kits. I would like to get into a 70-80" wing A/C.
Thanks

Go to www.nsrca.org first. Looks under pattern links, and start clicking.
Aeroslave is good, Peidmont is good, PAC has a couple good ones, CA models is awesome (when you can find them) and of course the imported kits such as ZN and PL.
A good pattern plane is about 78" long and has about a 74" wingspan. The largest a pattern plane is allowed to be is 2 meters (78.74 inches) in any direction. So the closer to 2 meters long, the better. The wingspan works better about 74-76" than at the full 78".
Have fun shopping
