Just getting into Pattern. Flying a GP Venus with an OS 46 FX. I just want to cut to the chase so can someone recommend the best APC prop combination for this plane and engine.

APC 11X6 with out a pipe
APC 11x7 in case you use a tune pipe

Even you can use a 10X7 but it is going to be a bit faster

What elevation, temperature, and nitro content?

Mine seemed to work well on HOT days with a 10X6 on 15% with baffle removed at 1000 feet, BUT would definitely not meet the sound level requirement for competition.
On cooler days, an 11X6 worked well.
