Just have to tell the story of a terrific, small group of dedicated Black Dirt Squadron folks and their wives who worked tirelessly to provide a MOST EXCELLENT event. Around 25 contestants, from probably 5 states, pretty good distribution (Sportsman was a little small). The CD ordered and received absolutely terrific weather, and it was clear, sun-filled, with VERY little wind both days.
What was REALLY nice were the beautiful plaques for 1st thru 3rd, and ALSO that EACH COMPETITOR was given a miniature "swiss army knife" engraved with the event name and date!!!! Great touch of class to create memories.
Some VERY good flying in all classes, smoothly run lines courtesy of one of the wives, and PERFECTLY flawless computer scoring / postings courtesy of two OTHER wives!!!!! Amazing, the committment of folks and their families to this terrific game!!!!
Folks within reach who didn't attend ---- well ---- you really missed a GREAT event!!!! Better go NEXT year!!!!
