Default MVVS for pattern

Has anyone used a MVVS .90 in a pattern plane? I am planning to put it on World models Tai-Ji 60.

I had a MVVS .77 in an Illusion pattern ship and a MVVS .90 in a Widebody 60.
Both engines produce a tremendous amount of power. The older versions had
carburetors that were very sensitive and hard to keep adjusted. There are
updated replacement carburetors available that solve that problem and the new MVVS
engines come with the new carbs on them. Strong running engines that have a lot of low
end power , pull big props , runs on 0 to 5% nitro so are economical to run. A handy
feature is they can be configured for side or rear exhaust. Great engines.

All three engine are the same physical size so any of them will fit.
My Illusion is over 8 lbs and the .77 is more than enough power but
if you don't already have the engine I would go with the .90 .
Power is king in pattern.

I have a MVVS 90 on a very heavy (10lbs) bridi XLT and it was impressive how it hauled that beast around. It's setup R/E with MVVS header and pipe. I'm cleaning out the shop for winter project so I'll make you a deal on the engine, header and pipe if anyone is interested. Has about 3 gallons on 15% Powermaster ran thru it. Nice and broke -in.

Hey Ballbearingman, you still got that MVVS .90? If so, what do you want for it?
