Default Arresti Availability

A friend just ordered one of the next shipment, due in November, and was told that 14 of the 20 coming are preordered. I don't know how quickly Kondor re-stocks, but if you're considering getting an Arresti, you may want to email them.

Remember, this is a completely F3A/Masters competitive capable Pattern ARF-design, with everything included, delivered to your door for about $400 !!!

I like the Hyde ARIA mount (with the integrated nose ring). I'm using one in my Arresti III and a friend has exactly the same setup in his Focus II. We love the ease of mounting, maintenance, quiet and smoothness . (Both of us are using the YS 140 Sport...another friend has used it with the Dingo in an Impact with good results)

I'm not sponsored by Hyde, but I do believe in his stuff....also Merle will bend over backwards to help with advice etc.... I believe that is worth a lot in this game.

Personally Id love one of the Aria mounts for my Aresti, BUT Im on a budget a lot less than $100USD for a mount. So far looking at a Gator Soft N Safe.
Unless someone has an Aria for an OS140 that needs a good loved home for free for a lot less than the asking price of them new.
Im hoping someone at the comp Im going to tomorrow will have a suitable alternative thats no longer in use and is a lot cheaper.

Lancair-RCU - there is a fellow in Aus. that does a respectable home-version of a mount quite similar in purpose and function to the one you mention. There also are instructions on my website on how to make one. If it needs a nose ring, the Arresti is easily configured for that using spruce sticks and a ply plate, again - check my web site under the Arresti info for details.

The "homemade" stuff can be done for less than $25 total...

I'm not buying them, only sharing the info about the stock condition in the US. I have *my* two, so I'm GOOD.

See my note to Lancair-RCU about motor mounts. PM me if you have questions.

I would *NEVER* hard mount ANY 4 cycle, and to do so with the DZ would most certainly vibrate the airframe to pieces in short order. I would NOT recommend it, under any circumstances.
