Default Hey "Mister" your Cowl ate my engine

I'd like to hear your Pros & Cons, for and against the Cowl, should it be one peice removable or not ?

Let me clarify, some plane designs offer a one-piece pre-molded cowl, which fastens to the firewall. Other designs utilize a belly pan and chin cut-out (Cowl) for engine access; or you can purchase kits or plans which use pre-molded Cowls and you decided if it’s to be permanently mounted or removable.

Pros
1. A cowl makes the plane more aerodynamic
2. A proper cut cowl will cool a engine just as good as one with out.
3. Gives the plane a "cleaner" appearance

The only Con that comes to mind is if you half to do some work in a hurry. (half to take the cowl off to access engine other then the basics)
