Default Where's a good CG for the 2M Finesse?

I bought a well used 2 meter Finesse and am finally getting around to installing my engine and radio gear. I've done a rough check of the balance point and it's about one inch or so AFT of the wing tube's rear edge. This calculated to be about 40% MAC or maybe even a little more. This of course is with the RX and battery right behind the firewall. That seems a little excessive. I don't know if the original owner had any lead up front or not. Can somebody who's flown this model tell me what they've balanced their's at? Either distance at the root chord or %MAC is fine. Thanks.
John.
