Rcpilot,
I had this plane few years back. It had OS 61SF with Hatori Tuned pipe on it. Mine had a foam wing and it was kinda heavy, so the snaps were wild!! infact uncontrollable! otherwise its a very smooth aircraft to fly. Landings are extremely stable. No bad habits as such. Loops, rolls, inverted, vertical were great. Knife edge was ok. And yes, its a floater!! So I had flaps on it too!

Wow, someone else has seen this plane! Flew one of these in sportsman/intermediate for a few years. Now another guy in the club has it and occasionally flies it. Mine was painted and a little heavy but still flew well. With a good engine it flew pretty well. Had a YS .61 AR with Hatori 650 and APC 12*11. Real floater so landings were a bit of a pain from what I can remember. I believe it was designed by the Irish champ. A bit ahead of its time since it used fixed gear and a fatter wing to add drag. Good plane for the first couple of classes.
