I just got this email Christmas Card from CA Model. It has their new F3A plane "Genesis" which I am told is now going to be called "Fusion"

Wow! Is this the rumored wood fuselage 2 meter model or a replacement for the Eclipse?

Either way it looks great; building my Epsilon now and it is a very well enginered kit.

Happy Holidays!

I saw that someone said that they are bringing out 5 new planes.

I'm building the Widebody 40 now and waiting for the 40 sized Epsilon in February.

Looks like an eclipse to me. What are the differences?

Looks more like Partner to me. Pretty airplane. I wonder when they are going to release it?

I saw the new plane in a great event at Club Newbery. I talked with some of CA Model crew and told me that the Genesis is the new project, and they think that it will be on the market probably in february or march. Marcelo Colombo are going to start testing the prototype and maybe make some minor changes. The Genesis isn´t the replacement of the Eclipse, is just another option. The fuselage is FG or CK, not wood. It´s the style of the PL L´azulite. Really awsome.
Some pics.

The differences with the Eclipse are: wider fuselage, they move forward the cabin, and the nose section (in a front view) is smaller. This airplane is based in the new tends of F3A like the european models ZN and PL.

I like the deeper profile, it also looks like they got the H-tail further back, but shortend design overall. If it comes out around 76 x 76 or less, it could be just the ticket.

hmmm, shorter length for the tail section moment and more of a mid wing over the Eclipse design.
