Honestly i don't know. I have never flown one. From what i have heard it's ok for training pattern, but it isn't good for F3A (FAI). It's cheap, uses little fuel, very fast to build, the "kit" includes almost all the hardware.

My son and I just finished one (ours is called an Irin, but its the same plane) It came out at 4 lbs 1 oz with an OS 46 fx. We flew it for the first itme this weekend and I am initially impressed. We still have some trimming to do, but I think it is a good first pattern plane. The rudder authority is very good, and knife edge flight was pretty stable. It also slows down nicely when you back off the throttle, which I did not expect. We are using it as a pattern trainer for my son.

I flew one last year with a 46FX in it. Had a good time with it until I dumb-thumbed it into the ground from about 20 feet. But I liked it well enough to get another, which is waiting to go on the building board. For the money, you can hardly go wrong. Should serve nicely to get somebody started in pattern flying.

Have flown one of these and really enjoyed the speed of the plane with an OS 46AX. Lands really nicely and slowly with flaperons configuration
