Most of our current pattern airplanes seem to have CG ranges that are pretty similar, as a percentage of MAC. Seem to be 25-27% for designs I'm familiar with.

Would those of you who know what % MAC your CG is located, please reply with the number, and the name of the airplane design? Thanks!

On my Excelsior its 38% at the root which I think is about 28% MAC

Mine is at 29% on the Insight (flies inverted with very little down elev. at this CG).

Is the Insight (and Excelsior) "double tapered", with LE sweeping back, and TE sweeping forward?
